How we did it

  • A Facebook and Instagram Paid Social and Social Creative campaign following on from on work for Penguin on Stephen Fry's book, 'Mythos'.
  • For 'Heroes', we created short Instagram Stories videos based around the re-telling of Greek myths.
  • Key characters and story backgrounds were hand drawn by Dave using a few initial supplied character illustrations as a base, animations were done entirely by the studio team and signed off by Stephen Fry himself on the first round. users voted via Instagram Polls on which of three stories they wanted to see on both Penguin and Stephen Fry's channels.
  • Additionally, we created transition videos, Instagram Stories puzzles and carousel formats for use in pre- release and in the Christmas gifting window.
